EGX closes mixed on July 4

Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mixed on Thursday.

The main index, EGX30 went up by 0.72 per cent, to 28,364.79 points.

The Shariah index, EGX33, went down by 0.52 per cent to 2,768.98 points.

The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 dropped by 0.20 per cent, to 6,222.96 points.

The index, EGX100 index fell by 0.07 per cent, to 9,057.92 points.

The total market cap reached 1,908,679,933,019 Egyptian pound.

The Egyptians and Arabs were net sellers with a total of 689,265,826 Egyptian pound, and 14,528,285 Egyptian pound, respectively. On the other hand, the Non-Arab Foreigners were net buyers with 703,794,111 Egyptian pound.

Risers on Thursday

1. The shares of Osool ESB Securities Brokerage (EBSC.CA) rose by 19.86 per cent, to close at the price of 0.332 Egyptian pound a share.
2. The shares of Rights Issue Of Al Tawfeek Leasing Company – A.T.LEASE -2 (ATLC_r2.CA) climbed by 5.69 per cent, to trade at the price of 1.207 Egyptian pound a share.
3. The shares of Remco for Touristic Villages Construction (RTVC.CA) jumped by 4.99 per cent, to the purchasing price of 1.999 Egyptian pound a share.

Fallers on Thursday

1. The shares of Rights Issue Of Sinai Cement -2 (SCEM_r2.CA) fell by 34.83 per cent, to close at 0.217 Egyptian pound a share.
2. The shares of Lecico Egypt (LCSW.CA) declined by 7.12 per cent, to close at 23.230 Egyptian pound a share.
3. The shares of Maridive & Oil Services (MOIL.CA) dropped by 3.64 per cent, to close at the price of 0.265 Egyptian pound a share.
