Egypt’s stock exchange (EGX) ended trading lower on Sunday, with main index, EGX30 inching down by 0.87 per cent to 28042.06 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33, fell by 1.16 per cent to 2701.99 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 dropped by 0.43 per cent to 6251.5 points.
The index, EGX100 index was 0.55 per cent down to 9045.85 points.
The total market capitalisation reached 1,902,313,376,661 Egyptian pound.
Egyptians and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with total transactions worth 657,198,224 Egyptian pound and 1,037,710,897 Egyptian pound. Meanwhile, Arabs were net sellers with total of 1,694,909,120 Egyptian pound.

- The shares of Copper For Commercial Investment & Real Estate Development (COPR.CA) jumped by 7.14 per cent, to close at the price of 0.375 Egyptian pound a share.
- The shares of Zahraa Maadi Investment & Development (ZMID.CA) climbed by 5.73 per cent, to trade at the price of 7.010 Egyptian pound a share.
- The shares of The Egyptian Modern Education Systems (MOED.CA) surged by 5.26 per cent, to the purchasing price of 0.260 Egyptian pound a share.
Top losers on Sunday
- The shares of GMC GROUP FOR INDUSTRIAL COMMERCIAL & FINANCIAL INVESTMENTS (GMCI.CA) fell by 5.00 per cent, to close at 0.951 Egyptian pound a share.
- The shares of Pioneers Properties For Urban Development(PREDCO) (PRDC.CA) declined by 4.53 per cent, to close at 2.950 Egyptian pound a share.
- The shares of The Egyptian Company for Construction Development-Lift Slab (EDBM.CA) dropped by 4.06 per cent, to close at the price of 0.307 Egyptian pound a share.
