S. Korea’s SMEs boost exports by 4.4% in H1 ’24

South Korea’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) reported a 4.4 per cent increase in exports during the first half of the year compared to the same period in 2023. The cosmetics sector was a key driver of this growth.

According to data from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, outbound shipments from 77,078 SMEs reached $57.1 billion between January and June, surpassing the $54.7 billion recorded in the previous year.
