EGX closes mixed on July 29

Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mixed on Monday. The main index, EGX30 went down by 0.64 per cent, to 28,851.23 points.

The Shariah index, EGX33 dropped by 0.27 per cent to 2,758.83 points.

The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 went up by 0.12 per cent, to 6,721.73 points.

The index, EGX100 index fell by 0.11 per cent, to 9,590.94 points.

The total market cap reached 1,969,803,688,838 Egyptian pound.

The Egyptians and Arabs were net sellers with 24,522,457 Egyptian pound, and 4,456,017 Egyptian pound, respectively. Meanwhile, The non-Arab Foreigners were net buyers with a total of 28,978,474 Egyptian pound.

Top gainers on Tuesday

  1. The shares of Raya Holding For Financial Investments (RAYA.CA) climbed by 11.79 per cent, to close at 2.370 Egyptian pounds a share.
  2. The shares of Maridive & oil services (MOIL.CA) jumped by 9.33 per cent, to close at 0.410 Egyptian pounds a share.
  3. The shares of Sharkia National Food (SNFC.CA) surged by 6.20 per cent, to close at the price of 2.910 Egyptian pounds a share.

Top losers on Tuesday

  1. The shares of Egyptian Iron & Steel (IRON.CA) declined by 4.99 per cent, to close at the price of 42.260 Egyptian pounds a share.
  2. The shares of Ismailia Development and Real Estate Co (IDRE.CA) fell by 4.99 per cent, to trade at the price of 19.050 Egyptian pounds a share.
  3. The shares of Gulf Canadian Real Estate Investment Co. (CCRS.CA) dropped by 4.98 per cent, to the purchasing price of 25.560 Egyptian pounds a share.
