ElBaradei: The Regime Is Responsible For Violence

Dr Mohamed ElBaradei, Chairman of Al Dostour (Constitution Party) and a Member of the National Salvation Front (NSF), bore the current regime the responsibility of protecting the citizens and dealing with the reasons of violence and its repercussions.

On his Twitter account Saturday morning, ElBaradei wrote: violence continues to escalate; security forces inept in handling protests & regime failing to address root causes of mounting anger.

It is worth mentioning that opposition protesters in Egypt clashed yesterday with members of the governing Muslim Brotherhood in several towns, leaving scores of people injured.
