Egypt’s PM follows up progress of Ras El Hekma development Phase I

Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly held a meeting to review the progress of the first phase of the Ras El Hekma development project and the compensation process for residents.

The meeting was attended by government officials, including the Ministers of Local Development, Housing, and Matrouh Governorate.

Prime Minister Madbouly emphasised the importance of accelerating the resettlement process and ensuring timely compensation for residents.

The government has approved the temporary construction requirements for the Shams El Hekma area and is working on a detailed land use plan. A tripartite committee has been formed to inventory remaining houses and address any issues.

The government has also allocated land for a new school in the Shams El Hekma area and is coordinating with relevant authorities to oversee its construction.

The Prime Minister reviewed the progress of infrastructure development in the area, including utility networks and roads. The government is working to complete these projects in a timely manner.

The government is committed to supporting the development of Ras El Hekma City and ensuring that the project benefits the local community.
