Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mixed on Thursday.
The main index, EGX30 went up by 0.04 per cent, to 30,497.83 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33, went down by 0.89 per cent to 2,914.26 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 fell by 0.14 per cent, to 7,093.31 points.
The index, EGX100 index sunk by 0.26 per cent, to 10,131.37 points.
The total market cap reached 2,069,895,990,139 Egyptian pound.
The Arabs and Non-Arab Foreigners were net buyers with a total of 844,624,131 Egyptian pound, and 1,470,667,464 Egyptian pound, respectively. On the other hand, the Egyptians were net sellers with 2,315,291,595 Egyptian pound.
Risers on Thursday
- The shares of Acrow Misr (ACRO.CA) rose by 19.99 per cent, to close at the price of 75.380 Egyptian pound a share.
- The shares of El Arabia for Land Reclamation (EALR.CA) climbed by 19.98 per cent, to trade at the price of 52.130 Egyptian pound a share.
- The shares of Natural Gas & Mining Project (Egypt Gas) (EGAS.CA) jumped by 7.77 per cent, to the purchasing price of 30.50 Egyptian pound a share.
Fallers on Thursday
- The shares of Alexandria National Company for Financial Investment (ANFI.CA) fell by 17.69 per cent, to close at 22.060 Egyptian pound a share.
- The shares of ARAB Developers Holding (PORT.CA) declined by 10.26 per cent, to close at 0.376 Egyptian pound a share.
- The shares of El Kahera El Watania Investment (KWIN.CA) dropped by 8.33 per cent, to close at the price of 32.370 Egyptian pound a share.
