S. Korea’s trade surplus declines in early Sep. ’24 – data

South Korea Customs Service reported on Monday that exports fell by 1.1 per cent to $35.6 billion during the period from September 1-20, while imports decreased by 4.5 per cent to $34.8 billion, resulting in a trade surplus of $0.8 billion.

According to the latest data published by the Korea Customs Service on Monday, exports decreased by $390 million compared to September 2023, while imports saw a decline of $16.5 billion.
