Russia not to limit grain exports in 2012: Putin

The Russian Government will set no limits on grain exports in 2012, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his first Deputy, Victor Zubkov, in charge of Russian agriculture.

Zubkov told the Prime Minster that this year Russia can do without grain export limitations that were set in 2010 following a severe drought in Central Russia in summer that year.

Russian grain exports may reach 27 million tons in 2012.
