China’s foreign trade up in 1st 11-m in ’24

China’s foreign trade grew by 4.9 per cent in the first 11 months of 2024, according to official data released by the General Administration of Customs (GAC).

The total value of imports and exports reached 39.79 trillion yuan (approximately 5.6 trillion dollars), with exports increasing by 6.7 per cent to 23.04 trillion yuan, while imports saw a more modest rise of 2.4 per cent, reaching 16.75 trillion yuan.
