Egypt bourse has ended the closing session of Sunday incurring losses of EGP 2.65 billion driven by the news of dissolving Egypt’s Shura Council that ruled by the Supreme Constitutional Court this morning.
Accordingly, the Egyptian Exchange’s indices dropped closing on dark red notes by Sunday afternoon.
Egypt’s benchmark index EGX30 dropped by 1.179% to close at 5374.96 p; while the EGX20, it failed by 0.73% to end at 6095.9 p.
Meanwhile, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 dipped by 0.48% to conclude at 438.33 p. The price index EGX100 also inched down by 0.35% to finish at 739 p.
The capital market has closed at EGP 358.780 billion on Sunday

During the closing session of Sunday, the trading volume reached 53.399 million securities..
For the traded value, it reached EGP 234.225 million, exchanged through 12.382 thousand transactions.
During the closing session of Sunday, 159 listed securities have been traded in; 95 declined, 26 advanced; while 38 keeping their previous levels.
