Taiwan rules out reciprocal tariffs on US, pledges to lift trade barriers

Taiwan will not impose reciprocal trade tariffs on the United States, President Lai Ching-te said on Sunday, adding that the island will remove trade barriers and that Taiwanese companies will steadily expand their investments in the US. Lai made the remarks during a meeting with Taiwanese business executives.
