Egypt’s Housing Min. reviews govt. real estate marketing plans

Egypt’s Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Sherif El Sherbiny held a meeting with executives from Founders Real Estate Marketing Company to review the firm’s sales performance and marketing efforts for several projects by the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) , the Egyptian Cabinet reported on Monday.

El Sherbiny said the ministry aims to maximise returns on investments poured into residential and developmental projects across Egypt’s new cities.

He noted that a large number of diverse housing units have been handed over in recent years, prompting the ministry to develop comprehensive marketing strategies in cooperation with several real estate marketing firms.

During the meeting, the minister reviewed the upcoming marketing plan’s key elements and discussed proposals for a number of new investment projects.

He confirmed the government’s commitment to expanding public-private partnerships in all types of real estate investment, under mechanisms designed to attract a wide range of investors and developers.

El Sherbiny also reviewed Founders’ sales figures for the units it currently promotes.
