Egypt’s Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Fund CEO Mai Abdel Hamid received three ISO certifications, marking a significant milestone in aligning the fund’s operations with international standards, as per a Cabinet statement.
The fund was awarded ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS), ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management, and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management.
Abdel Hamid said the certifications reflect the fund’s commitment to applying global best practices across all operations, benefiting both employees and service users.
She noted that the fund has focused on improving its work environment and staff capabilities through adopting modern systems, aiming to enhance the quality of housing services offered to citizens.
She added that the fund has also prioritised occupational safety and environmental standards, leading to a thorough review of internal procedures to ensure compliance with international benchmarks. The fund now plans to pursue ISO 27001 certification Information Security Management System (ISMS) in the near future.
