Egypt Healthcare Authority (EHA) Chairman Ahmed El Sobky held a meeting with Advanced Health Solutions (AHS) Chairman Mohammed Zamakhshary to discuss strategic collaboration in healthcare leadership development and national health initiatives.
The two sides agreed to launch an executive training programme for managerial staff across healthcare facilities affiliated with the EHA.
The programme will target hospital and unit directors, deputies, operations managers, and nursing heads, and will be implemented in cooperation with the Saudi Health Training Centre. The curriculum will be accredited by international institutions such as Johns Hopkins, the Healthcare Leadership Academy, and Alfaisal University.
The meeting also explored plans to establish an accredited Egyptian health training centre under the EHA, modelled on the Saudi counterpart, to serve as a national platform for knowledge exchange and capacity-building, with jointly developed training content regularly updated to meet international standards.
Additionally, the two parties discussed the creation of two integrated national platforms, one for occupational health and another for school health, within governorates covered by Egypt’s Universal Health Insurance system. The initiatives aim to improve population health and will be expanded nationwide in coordination with relevant ministries.
