Egypt launches Facility Management Forum 2025

Egypt’s Deputy Minister of Housing Sayed Ismail inaugurated the 6th edition of the Facility Management Forum (EFMF 2025) under the theme “Maximising Asset Value Towards a More Sustainable Future”, according to a Cabinet statement on Thursday.

The event, attended by ministry-affiliated entities and Egyptian and international companies, aims to boost cooperation, open new industrial opportunities, protect assets, and ensure service sustainability in line with standards.

Ismail, accompanied by Mohamed Hassan, CEO of the Egyptian Water and Wastewater Regulatory Agency (EWRA), and Project Management Unit representatives, inspected the exhibition booths to review the latest technologies in asset and facility management.

The Deputy Minister emphasised the ministry’s commitment to supporting local products and encouraging the localisation of electromechanical equipment and smart management systems, according to the statement.

He emphasised the growth of partnerships with global industrial institutions and the opening of new factories to align with the state’s strategy of entering new markets in Egypt and exporting to Africa and the Gulf at competitive prices. This strategy aims to boost demand for Egyptian products and promote local preference through ministry-affiliated entities.
