Gold prices fluctuated in Thursday midday transactions, supported by a weaker dollar and technical buying as investors await key US economic data for more clarity on future interest rates.
As of 12:27 PM GMT, spot gold increased 0.14 per cent to $3,182.05 per ounce, higher than its previous close of $3,177.52. Meanwhile, US gold futures fell 0.12 per cent to $3,184.59 per ounce, down from Wednesday’s closing price of $3,188.3.
