Egyptian pound inches up vs. USD at Tuesday’s close: CBE

The Egyptian pound (EGP) edged higher against the US dollar (USD) on Tuesday, 27 May 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).

The CBE reported an average buying rate of EGP 49.7474 per dollar and a selling rate of EGP 49.8474, compared to Monday’s rates of EGP 49.7826 and EGP 49.8826, respectively.
