Egyptian pound rises vs. USD at Monday’s close

The Egyptian pound (EGP) appreciated against the US dollar (USD) on Monday, June 2 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).

The CBE reported an average buying rate of EGP 49.6372 per dollar and a selling rate of EGP 49.7372, compared to Sunday’s rates of EGP 49.6531 and EGP 49.7514, respectively.
