Egyptian pound gains ground at Wednesday’s close

The Egyptian pound (EGP) strengthened against the US dollar (USD) on Wednesday, June 4 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).

The CBE reported an average buying rate of EGP 49.5889 per dollar and a selling rate of EGP 49.6889, compared to Tuesday’s rates of EGP 49.6289 and EGP 49.7289, respectively.
