Egyptian pound falls vs. USD at Thursday’s close

The Egyptian pound dropped against the US dollar on Thursday, June 12, 2025, according to figures released by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).

The CBE quoted an average buying rate of EGP 49.7300 to the dollar and a selling rate of EGP 49.8300, compared to Wednesday’s rates of EGP 49.4431 and EGP 49.5431, respectively.
