Egypt’s Healthcare Authority (EHA) is in talks with global digital solutions provider Konecta to explore cooperation in smart healthcare and digital transformation, according to a Cabinet statement on Sunday.
The parties discussed introducing integrated digital health solutions across EHA facilities and establishing a centre of excellence for artificial intelligence to support clinical decision-making and health data analytics, the statement added.
Ahmed El Sobky, EHA’s head, highlighted the authority’s efforts to form strategic partnerships with global innovators. Konecta’s $200 million investment and system integrator expertise position it as a strong candidate to support Egypt’s healthtech ambitions.
Konecta, headquartered in Spain, is a global leader in customer experience and digital services, with more than 25 years of experience. The company recently expanded its presence in Egypt with the launch of a generative AI centre of excellence.
