Gold prices slips slightly ahead of Fed decision

Gold prices slightly declined on Wednesday as investors are cautious before the US Federal Reserve’s policy decision and monitored the Israel-Iran conflict closely.

Spot gold fell 0.06 per cent to $3,386.88 per ounce by 12:51 GMT, down from a previous close of $3,388.76. Meanwhile, US gold futures fell 0.04 per cent to $3,405.70 per ounce, compared to $3,406.9 at the close on Tuesday.
