Egypt and China have renewed two MoUs to strengthen bilateral cooperation in investment and infrastructure, as part of Investment and Foreign Trade Minister Hassan El-Khatib’s official visit to China, the Cabinet announced on Monday.
The first MoU was signed between Egypt’s General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) and China-Africa Development Fund (CAD Fund) to support Chinese companies investing in Egypt’s infrastructure and manufacturing sectors.
The second MoU was between GAFI and the China Investment Promotion Agency (CIPA) to boost investment cooperation, share information on investment policies, and facilitate business delegation exchanges.
