Asia-Pacific markets had a mixed trading day on Wednesday, with investors considering a ceasefire between Israel and Iran, along with new statements from the US Federal Reserve.
Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 index remained unchanged, closing at 8,559.2. South Korea’s Kospi index increased by 0.15 per cent to finish at 3,108.25, while the Kosdaq index dropped by 0.34 per cent to end the day at 798.21.
Japan’s Nikkei 225 index rose by 0.39 per cent to reach 38,942.07, and the Topix index closed at 2,782.24.
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index climbed by 1.22 per cent to close at 24,471.02, and China’s CSI 300 index increased by 1.44 per cent to 3,960.07.
