Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed on a red note on Sunday, July 13, 2025.
- The main index, EGX30 went down by 0.81 per cent, to 33,053.47 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33 dropped by 1.27 to 3,447.82 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70 fell by 0.25 to 10,105.71 points.
- The EGX100 index sank by 0.36 per cent, to 13,653.99 points.
The total market cap reached 2,352,932,889,453 Egyptian pounds.
The Arabs and Non-Arab Foreigners were net sellers with 107,289,061 Egyptian pounds, and 27,094,679Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, The Egyptians were net buyers with 134,383,740 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers
- Osool ESB Securities Brokerage shares went up by 19.80 per cent to close at 1.210 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Golden Textiles & Clothes Wool shares surged by 16.91 per cent, closing at 33.110 Egyptian pounds per share.
- Upper Egypt Flour Mills shares rose by 14.09 per cent reaching 647.020 Egyptian pounds per share.
Top losers
- General Company For Land Reclamation,Development & Reconstru shares went down by 4.98 per cent to close at 78.920 Egyptian pounds a share.
- El Wadi For International and Investement Development shares dropped by 4.70 per cent to close at 1.420 per cent a share.
- GMC GROUP FOR INDUSTRIAL COMMERCIAL & FINANCIAL INVESTMENTS shares fell by 4.58 per cent, to close at 1.250 Egyptian pounds a share.
