Dr. Mona Makrem Abeid, member of Egyptian Social Democratic Party’s higher authority, said that the constituent Assembly to draft the constitution is more important than the presidential elections.
In her speech today during “Constitution for All Egyptians” conference at Journalists Syndicate, she said the conflict that the political arena witnesses around the new constitution is due to the constitution will be stable but both of the president and majority of parties are changeable.
Abeid condemned the constituent assembly, which elected by Egypt’s parliament; for not including any jurisprudents who outclasses Egypt; affirming her refusal to the names elected for the committee as long as it doesn’t include names of great and qualified experts.
She called for what is called “Controlling mind” of Freedom and Justice Party, the political arm for Muslim Brotherhood, and to precede the nation’s interest to the personal ones.
