Hundreds of Morsi Supporters Hurl Stones at Aswan Governorate HQ

Hundreds of pro-Morsi protesters hurled stones at Aswan’s governorate headquarters on Wednesday morning in protest against the security operation in Cairo to disperse protesters at Rabaa al-Adaweya and Nahda sit-ins.

Around three thousands demonstrators have besieged the building and are attempting to break into it, an Aswat Masriya eyewitness said.

Security forces cordoned off the area.

If the demonstrators do not respond to negotiations, their protest will be broken up by force, Major General Hassan Abdel Hayy told Aswat Masriya.
