Egypt’s central bank to auction EGP 7b fixed-coupon T-bonds
The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) said it will auction fixed-coupon treasury bonds worth 7 billion Egyptian pounds on Monday, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance.
The fixed-coupon bonds have a two-year maturity, due on 7 October, 2027, according to a statement on the central bank’s website.
A bond coupon refers to the annual interest paid to investors, typically disbursed once or twice a year until the bond matures.
