Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum Karim Badawy met with Katherine Roe, CEO of Pharos Energy, on Tuesday to discuss expanding cooperation in exploration and production activities in the Western Desert.
The talks, held on the sidelines of the World Energies Summit in London, focused on finalising assignment procedures for the South Abu Sennan area, Pharos Energy’s latest investment block in Egypt, and ongoing collaboration with the International Petroleum Resources Company (IPR) to develop the North Beni Suef area through new drilling operations and improve production rates in Fayoum.
Badawy also encouraged Pharos Energy to increase its investments in the Western Desert, highlighting the sector’s potential for growth and production.
