Gold prices edge higher in Egypt on Wednesday, 29 Oct., 2025

Gold prices in Egypt rose on Wednesday, following movements in global markets and fluctuations in the US dollar exchange rate, according to local market data.

As of 16:10 local time (13:10 GMT), 24-carat gold was trading at 6,160 Egyptian pounds per gram, up from 6,040 pounds on 28 Oct. — a 1.99 per cent increase.

Prices for other purities also climbed:
