Gold prices in Egypt rose on Thursday, following gains in global bullion markets and movements in the US dollar exchange rate, local traders said.
As of 16:25 local time (14:25 GMT), 24-carat gold was trading at 6,440 Egyptian pounds per gram, up 2.27 per cent from 6,297.25 pounds on 12 Nov.
