Egypt’s UPA, GCM, Informa form alliance to expand Africa Health ExCon

Egypt’s Unified Procurement Authority (UPA) has entered into a strategic partnership with GCM Conferences and global events organiser Informa to deliver the largest edition yet of Africa Health ExCon, the continent’s flagship healthcare exhibition and conference.

The agreement was signed on Wednesday during the WHX Leaders Summit in Ghana under a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening the event’s role in attracting investment, expanding partnerships, and supporting the localisation of healthcare industries across Africa. The annual gathering is held under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

The alliance brings together UPA’s leadership and sector oversight with GCM’s organisational capabilities and Informa’s global expertise in major medical and health-sector exhibitions, including Arab Health, Medlab, FIME, and CPHI.

The partnership is designed to drive innovation, improve healthcare systems, and connect African markets with international expertise and technologies.
