Gold prices in Egypt inched up on Wednesday as investors continued to turn to safe-haven assets amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East involving Israel, the United States, and Iran.
By 15:09 Cairo time (13:09 GMT), 24-carat gold was trading at 8,525.5 Egyptian pounds per gram, up 22.5 pounds, or 0.26 per cent, from Tuesday’s 8,503 pounds. Other gold grades saw similar gains:
