The US dollar eased slightly against the Egyptian pound in midday trading on Wednesday, holding within a narrow range across major banks amid steady market conditions.
As of 11:44 Cairo time (09:44 GMT), the dollar was trading at around 53.46 pounds for buying and 53.54 pounds for selling, according to data compiled from leading banks.
Exchange rates at several of Egypt’s largest banks were as follows:
