Egypt denies fuel price hike rumours
Egypt’s Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources denied on Wednesday reports claiming fuel prices would rise starting Thursday, describing them as false and baseless.
The ministry confirmed that such publications are unfounded, represent misleading rumours, and affirmed that legal measures will be taken against anyone spreading these claims.
