EGX ends week mixed – 14 May 2026

Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mixed on Thursday.

  • The benchmark index, EGX30 went down by 0.49 per cent to 53,154.84 points.
  • The Shariah index, EGX33 fell by 0.39 per cent to 5,853.3 points.
  • The index EGX35-LV rose 0.01 per cent to 6,021.82 points.
  • The SMEs index, EGX70 added 0.12 per cent, to 15,087.56 points.
  • The EGX100 index advanced by 0.23 per cent, to 20,990.78 points.

The total market cap reached 3,806,248,848,046 Egyptian pounds.

Egyptians and Arabs were net buyers with 14,232,730,843 pounds and 997,698,822 pounds, respectively. On the other hand, non-Arab foreigners were net sellers, with a total of 15,230,429,665 pounds.

Top gainers

  1. The shares of Creast Mark For Contracting And Real Estate Development went up by 15.42 per cent to 1.108 pounds a share.
  2. The shares of QALAA For Financial Investments rose by 9.89 per cent to close at 5.220 pounds a share.
  3. The shares of Arab Aluminum jumped by 9.44 per cent, closing at 25.500 pounds a share.

Top losers

  1. The shares of Misr Duty Free Shops dropped by 5.00 per cent to 45.590 pounds a share.
  2. The shares of Ismailia Development and Real Estate Co fell by 4.59 per cent to close at 45.780 pounds a share.
  3. The shares of El-Nile Co. For Pharmaceuticals And Chemical Industries sank by 3.83 per cent, closing at 168.400 pounds a share.
