Egypt’s Medium, Small, and Micro Enterprise Development Agency (MSMEDA) signed a letter of intent with export technology platform EXBY on Thursday to help small businesses expand exports and access foreign markets.
Under the agreement, the two sides will cooperate to develop export-ready enterprises and improve product quality to meet international standards.
The partnership will use EXBY’s artificial intelligence platform and digital tools to help businesses identify export opportunities, understand import requirements in target markets, and access information on competitors and consumer demand.
MSMEDA Chief Executive Basil Rahmy said the cooperation would enable enterprises to capitalise on export opportunities, expand into foreign markets, and strengthen their presence abroad, thereby supporting business growth, stability, and job creation.
He added that MSMEDA would continue providing financial and technical support to export-oriented industrial and productive enterprises to improve efficiency and competitiveness.
The agency will also work with EXBY on programmes designed to help businesses complete export procedures and expand their international operations.
Rahmy said EXBY’s experience in company formation and its use of smart systems to address challenges faced by Egyptian businesses in accessing global markets would help support the partnership’s objectives.
