The greenback traded at an average of EGP 50.17 for buying and EGP 50.27 for selling across five major banks as of 11:49 a.m. local time (08:49 GMT), according to data compiled by Amwal Al Ghad English.

The Egyptian pound has traded within a relatively narrow range against the US dollar in recent weeks, supported by stronger foreign currency inflows, improving investor confidence, and easing pressure on the domestic foreign exchange market.
