Egyptian pound at 50.59/50.69 against dollar in midday trade – 29 July 2026

The Egyptian pound was little changed against the US dollar during midday trading on Wednesday, extending its recent spell of stability across Egypt’s leading banks.

The US dollar traded at an average of EGP 50.59 for buying and EGP 50.69 for selling across five major banks as of 13:10 local time (10:10 GMT), according to data compiled by Amwal Al Ghad English.
