Gold prices in Egypt 1.19% up today, Thursday, 30 July 2026

Gold prices in Egypt rose 1.19 per cent on Thursday, tracking global bullion prices and exchange-rate movements, according to market data at 16:54 local time (13:54 GMT).

The 21-carat gold, the most popular in the country, was trading at 5,935 Egyptian pounds per gram, up 70 pounds, or 1.19 per cent, from 5,865 pounds on Wednesday.

On international markets, gold was quoted at $4,100.01 per ounce, while the US dollar reached 51.1934 Egyptian pounds.
