Egypt’s stock market (EGX) mostly green on Tuesday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30, went up by 0.21 per cent to 54,909.17 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33, jumped by 1 per cent to 6,651.18 points.
- The index EGX35-LV fell by 0.21 per cent to 6,754.48 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70, climbed by 0.43 per cent to 20,713.95 points.
- The EGX100 index rose by 0.42 per cent, to 27,180.84 points.
The total market cap reached 4,304,483,865,197 Egyptian pounds.
Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers, with a total of 20,758,985,736 Egyptian pounds and 3,126,357,053 pounds, respectively. On the other hand, Egyptians were net sellers with 23,885,342,789 pounds.
Top gainers
- The shares of Speed Medical went up by 15.99 per cent to 0.602 pounds a share.
- The shares of Egyptians Real Estate Fund Certificates rose by 14.59 per cent to close at 30.000 pounds a share.
- The shares of Mansourah Poultry jumped by 11.46 per cent, closing at 2.820 pounds.
Top losers
- The shares of KORRA dropped by 10.38 per cent to 6.650 pounds at closing.
- The shares of United Housing & Development fell by 9.58 per cent to close at 19.720 pounds a share.
- The shares of Saudi Egyptian Investment & Finance sank by 6.89 per cent, closing at 230.620 pounds a share.
