EGAS targets 330MMcf/d gas production increase in 2026

Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) is targeting an additional 330 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d) of natural gas production from Mediterranean and Western Desert fields before the end of the year. This came on Wednesday during the company’s General Assembly chaired by Petroleum and Mineral Resources Minister Karim Badawi.

Around 250 MMcf/d is expected to be added from the Zohr and Mina West fields in the Mediterranean before year-end, while around 80 MMcf/d is targeted from the Meleiha fields in the Western Desert before the end of September.

Additional production from Meleiha is expected upon completion of the second phase of the gas processing plant.
