Egyptian pound at 51.92/52.02 against dollar at midday – 21 Sept 2026

The Egyptian pound was little changed against the U.S. dollar in midday trading on Monday, with exchange rates remaining broadly stable at major Egyptian banks as of 12:30 p.m. local time (09:30 GMT).

The dollar traded at an average of EGP 51.92 for buying and EGP 52.02 for selling across five major banks, according to data compiled by Amwal Al Ghad English.

The pound has traded within a relatively narrow range against the dollar in recent weeks, with exchange rates remaining broadly stable across the banking sector.
