Egyptian pound at 51.64/51.74 against dollar at midday trade – 24 Sept 2026

The Egyptian pound was broadly stable against the U.S. dollar during midday trading on Thursday, with exchange rates showing limited movement at major Egyptian banks as of 12:25 p.m. local time (0925 GMT).

The dollar traded at an average of EGP 51.64 for buying and EGP 51.74 for selling across five major banks, according to data compiled by Amwal Al Ghad English.

The pound has traded within a relatively narrow range against the dollar in recent weeks.
