After 4-Day Visit to UAE, Telecom Minister Returns to Egypt

Eng. Atef Helmy, Egyptian Telecom Minister returned to Egypt yesterday after visiting UAE for 4 days.

Many Datamatiks GITEXICT Experts in the UAE market have met the Minister in the annual conference works which organized by Datamatiks GITEXICT foundation.

The conference has reviewed the issues which related to using modern technology in ICT field in the governmental institutions and business sector.

Helmy has witnessed the launch of PLUTO tablet which introduced by Intel under promoting the Egyptian products.

The Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) announced its intention in collaboration with Intel announced for launching the Egyptian tablet computer for sale before the end of this year.

Helmy has further held many meetings with the officials working in ICT field.

He also invited the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to participate as a guest of honor in Cairo ICT which held in Egypt in the period from 9-12 December.
