Juhayna Defers Plans to Launch Minya Logistic Centre till Q1-end

Juhayna Food Industries S.A.E. (JUFO.CA) – leading Egypt-based manufacturer specialized in the production, processing and packaging of milk, yoghurt, juice and juice concentrate – decided to defer its plans to launch its new logistic centre for dairy products in Minya governorate  till the end of the first quarter of 2014.

Juhayna’s upcoming logistic centre in Minya is set to be with investments totaled EGP 50 million.

Eng. Safwan Thabet – Chairman of Juhayna Food Industries – stated that the Minya logistic centre project comes within the Group’s plan to carry out industrial ventures in Upper Egypt with total investments amount to EGP 500 million.

Thabet has attributed the Group’s postponement decision to the ongoing unstable political and security situation in Egypt.

All the obstacles to determine the space of the lands, on which the logistic centre project would be established, faced by the Group with officials in Minya governorate have become a thing of the past, Amwal Al Ghad has cited Thabet as saying.
