Mobinil Rules out Low-Price Offers Once TE Gets Mobile Licence

Vice President Commercial of Egyptian Company for Mobile Services (Mobinil) – (EMOB.CA) Ashraf Halim asserted that the mobile phone operators won’t compete Telecom Egypt (TE)(ETAL-CA) after obtaining the integrated licence for reducing the calls prices and providing new package of discount and low-prices on services.

In a statements to Amwal Al Ghad, Halim added that the competition will mainly base on improving the quality of service and focus on the “user satisfaction”, stressing that the current prices are “the lowest that can be provided to users.”

The recent years witnessed strong competition to attract the largest category of users, and Mobinil seized 34%  from mobile phone market in Egypt.
