Muscat Securities Market (MSM) general index 30 closed high in its third session this week by adding more than 34 points, constituting a rise of 0.57 per cent to close at 5,983 points compared to 5,949 points previously.
The MSM daily report pointed out that the industrial sector rose by 0.90 per cent to close at 6,950 points compared to 6,888 points previously, followed by the services sector, which rose by 0.68 per cent to close at 2,676 points compared to 2,658 points previously.
The financial sector also rose by 0.63 per cent to close at 7,147 points compared to 7,102 points previously, Oman Observer reported. The trading value stood at RO 6.2 million ($16.12 million), comprising a rise of 9.08 per cent compared to Monday’s session.
