Egypt’s Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Khaled Hanafi conferred with the director of EU investment projects in the Middle East on establishing two projects of global logistical center for cereals and grains and a trade and shopping city.
An agreement was reached to form joint working groups between the Ministry of Supplies and the EU to study the mechanisms of the projects, according to a statement by the ministry.
Meanwhile, Hanafi also met with Japanese ambassador in Cairo Takehiro Kagawa and accompanying delegations to review joint cooperation.
During the meeting, the Japanese ambassador hailed the two projects, adding that he will call on the Japanese investment companies to participate and invest in the two projects.
